  • Founded in 1921

    The company name Unofuku is named after the founder, Fukukichi Uno, who was in the business of luggage all over Japan. Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture, one of Japan's four major bag producing areas. It has a long history and has a thousand-year tradition. Beginning in the Nara period, after the prosperity of Yanagi Goori in the Edo period, we have continued to make travel bags and business bags since the Meiji era. Fukukichi Uno, the founder who returned to Toyooka after finishing his service at a bag shop in Tokyo, arranged the sewing method that was standard in Tokyo at that time.
